Brittany is one of seven children and was raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She moved to Georgia as a Division 1 athlete on a full scholarship to the University of Georgia. She graduated from UGA with a degree in Public Relations. Brittany had the honor to be a part of 2 SEC Title Wins & 2 National Championship Title Wins during her collegiate career as a “GymDog”. Due to her 20 years in the sport of gymnastics, she is competitive, goal-oriented, and has a work ethic that is second to none. After graduating from UGA, she moved to Savannah, GA, and began her career working for a local builder in the area. Brittany’s Real Estate career started off centering around new construction. Soon after, she relocated to Augusta Georgia and began managing numerous new construction communities & she quickly rose to be one of Augusta's leading producers in the industry.

She became Vice President for Meybohm within only 5 years of working for her broker. In 2016, Brittany was asked to focus her talents and energies on Meybohm's newest developments, Whispering Pines. She knew this was an opportunity where she could put her passions & expertise to continued good use. Brittany has managed over 12 subdivisions for Meybohm over the last 14 years closely working with developers & builder teams to produce award-winning communities. As a result, she has won many awards for those successful endeavors. Her skill sets have exceeded all expectations, as she continues to propel Meybohm’s developments to the top. Brittany is happily married to her business partner, Beau Hopkins. Together they have three beautiful children. Blakely, Chandler & Brantley. Fun facts about Brittany. She loves to cook. This is one way she unwinds from the beautiful chaos that is the world of Real Estate. She would have her own Food Network show if the opportunity ever presented itself. Sports are forever her favorite pastimes. Whether it be gymnastics, football, soccer, baseball, you name it she loves the world of sports. Brittany love sports so much that she went to college wanting to do sports broadcasting for a living. She can drink coffee all day everyday. You will see her with large earrings as statement jewelry pieces almost everyday of the week. If she has to choose between the mountains or the beach, she will choose the mountains every single time. Her parents, John and Lisa Thome, are her HEROES! Her siblings are her best friends. Beau was born in Augusta, Georgia and grew up in Columbia County, GA. He graduated from Lakeside High School in Evans, GA. Beau played all sports competitively while growing up and played all 4 years for the Lakeside baseball team. Beau graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. While at Georgia Southern, Beau was an active member of Kappa Alpha Order, American Marketing Association, and Georgia Southern intramural sports.

After leaving Statesboro, Beau lived in Savannah, GA and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Beau worked for national builder Pulte Homes in Bluffton, South Carolina. While working with this builder Beau learned the construction knowledge, the warranty process, and the overall concept of the building process from behind the scenes. Beau took that knowledge/experience and joined a local builder in the Savannah, GA area selling new construction homes. Beau met his wife Brittany in Savannah while both working for this same local builder.

Beau and Brittany moved back to the Augusta area in 2008 to continue their careers and start their family. Beau brought back his construction and sales knowledge to Columbia County and is working in one of the top selling new construction developments in the CSRA. Beau enjoys creating a bond with each of his clients and their families while providing the best customer service possible. He treats each of his clients transaction as if it were his own. In real estate he feels one of his most important tasks is to provide his clients with the proper expectation. Beau understands the construction process and has a great relationship with our local builders. He will provide the necessary knowledge to help guide buyers and sellers throughout every step of the home buying/selling process.
